The newsletter is free to read. It is provided for general information only and is not legal, financial or investment advice. Check facts that matter to you with a qualified professional.
Issues and site content are protected by copyright. You may read them, download the PDF for your own use, and share a link. Please do not republish them without permission.
The Trend$ page uses public data from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (FRED) and its original sources. We do our best to show it accurately but cannot guarantee it is complete or current.
Do not misuse the site: no automated harvesting of email addresses, no attempts to break its security, no spam through its forms.
Links to other websites (including sponsors') are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content.

Sponsor Terms

What a sponsorship is

A sponsorship places your banner in the rotating sponsor slideshow shown with every issue and in the archive, for the term you pay for. Each banner links to your website and opens in a new tab. At the end of the term, your banner is removed automatically.

Terms and payment

Terms are 3, 6 or 12 months, paid once in advance through Stripe. There is no automatic renewal. We email you a reminder before your term ends, with links to renew.
Your term starts the day we approve your banner, not the day you pay.
Renewing with the same email address adds time to your sponsorship.
As a general rule, there are no refunds. We may consider a refund case by case, for an individual advertiser, when there is good cause. Any such decision is at our discretion.

Banners

Banners are 728 × 90 pixels (or a picture with the same proportions, which we resize). They are reviewed before they go live, within 24 hours not counting weekends and holidays, and may be refused or removed.
You must have the right to use everything in your banner. Banners must be truthful, lawful, and appropriate for a professional audience, with no misleading claims, offensive content, or links to harmful sites.
Sponsors in regulated fields (such as lending or real estate sales) are responsible for including any disclosures the law requires.
We do not guarantee a number of views or clicks. Views and clicks are reported on your sponsor page. We have no control over the browsers, settings or ad blockers that visitors choose to use, and some of these hide banners on any website. Views and clicks count only visitors whose browsers show your banner, so they can be lower than the total number of visits.
You can send a replacement banner at any time; it replaces the old one once approved.

Newsletter subscription

As a condition of sponsorship, you are subscribed to the newsletter notices, so that you receive updates about your sponsorship, including changes to these terms or to sponsor features. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter notices at any time using the link in any notice. Messages about your sponsorship account (receipts, approvals, renewal reminders and changes to these terms) will still be sent to your email address.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will announce changes by email to the address on your sponsorship, with the date they take effect, and post the updated terms on this page. If you continue your sponsorship after that date, the new terms apply.
